Hong Kong, unlike neighboring China does not have a strong tea drinking culture and and after traveling through India and Nepal where drinking tea at every street corner is mandatory, I felt lost.
But, luckily, we managed to find one of the best traditional Chinese tea houses called Lin Heung on Wellington Street on Hong Kong Island. Always packed with people drinking herbal tea, eating dimsum and filling up on cake, this tea house became our temporary paradise where old men caught up on the days´ horse races while we filled up on steaming baozi.
